Pictures of the World is all about viewing and sharing your photos from around the world. Instead of showcasing your best photos to your family and friends a few times, post them here so the rest of the world can enjoy them all the time. Please ensure all of your photos are family friendly as this is a family friendly website.

Pictures of the World is broken down into 6 different categories: People, Places, Points of Interest, Floral and Fauna, Streets and a World Map. People is for showcasing different people from around the world, Places is to showcase all of the different places, Points of Interest is for things such as the Wonders of the World, Floral and Fauna is for interesting plants and animals, Streets is to showcase the different streets and cars from around the world and the World Map is the place to showcase things from your part of the World.

We also have an area for free pictures. These pictures, and only these pictures, are free to use as long as you include a link back to our site. The link should be clearly visible showing you got the photo from Pictures of the World. A proper link is shown on the free photo page.

Each month we will feature a photo of the month that gets the most views. You can also vote for your favorite photo by emailing us here. Please include the category it is in and the description of the photo. We do not need a copy of the photo itself.

Unique Facts and Figures is another interactive page where you can add unique facts and figures about your place in the world. If you have something interesting to share about your corner of the world, please let us know here.

As for all sites that share and display photos, please ensure that the photos you want to share are yours and that you have the rights to use and post them. Also, in regards to the people category, please respect the privacy of individuals and ask their permission before you send them to us. If you feel that a photo has been copyrighted or if you did not give permission for someone to use a particular photo, please email us and we will promptly take the photo off of our website.

If we have any inquiries from prospective companies that may want to purchase your photo, we will contact you by email, so please ensure your email is a valid one. Also please send all comments and places in English.
